Howdy! You’ve arrived at the Me & Roboco news and fan site! We’ve launched our website today, November 30, 2022 to the world. It’s been a passion project to help catalog and have a deep dive into the Me & Roboco franchise! We’ve started with a good foundation for the website and hope to have it grow for years to come!

Why a Fansite?

It might be easy to say “why not just update a wiki?” Or just run a Discord or Twitter or YouTube account. But all of those are platforms run and managed by other services. Having the flexibility to build and create with our own website gives you something to come back to. It allows for different features and searchability. It gives an identity for a source of information. Maybe it’s an older way of thinking, but it’s a good way to stand the test of time.

Our goal is provide the latest news along side of pages with deep pockets of information. It’s not just churning out content found elsewhere, but adding to amount of knowledge shared on the internet. And hopefully presenting it in a useful and meaningful way.

Site Mission

As a fan site, we aren’t here to make money or get famous (like Roboco). We want to provide information to you that you can trust and be reliable. All website operating costs are owned by the website, meaning that we will always run at a “loss.” There will never be any ads on the website. If you are here, you want to know more about Me & Roboco. So go spend your money supporting the series. And hopefully this website will help you do that.

Our goal is to be supportive of the series. We aren’t here to replace reading the manga or seeing official news. We want to support the official releases and help guide to you news for the series wherever it may be. We will not be reporting on leaks or information acquired before it becomes publicly available through official means or various retailers.

Our website will be primarily focused providing information in English. However the fans of Me & Roboco can be around the world. When possible we will try to cover the news of the series from around the world as well. Our media will attempt our best to have pages be translatable and accessible worldwide.

History of Making Roboco Rodeo

Roboco Rodeo, as a fan website was an idea first thought about in 2021. However, the owner, andysislands (Andy’s Islands), was busy working on his other website Patch Café, a Shaman King news and fan site. Being a fan of the series since the very first chapter, Me & Roboco was a must read every week in the English Weekly Shonen Jump. Using the over 10+ years of experience running that Shaman King website, this new project was formed. In October and November of 2022, the groundwork of building the website and the initial content load was completed.

Why the Name Roboco Rodeo?

It may seem like an odd name. But when you say the name out loud, it rolls off the tongue. A name needed to have something that was short but still indicated this site was related to the Me & Roboco series. So having Roboco in the name was an easy starting point. Going from there, we were looking for a name that had a similar starting syllable and ideally had the same number. Lastly having a short and easy website domain name was the final key. Coming across the word “Rodeo” then became the perfect fit, even if it’s not something you’d at first associate with a fan website. At it’s core a rodeo is a “roundup”, and this website pulls together different pieces of information for this “public performance.” The group of friends in Me & Roboco can be a wild bunch and we want pull those feelings together with this website.

We hope you enjoy what this website has to offer and in the end enjoy the Me & Roboco series a bit more. We’ve got lots planned for this website and hope you’ll check back in often. Currently we also have a Twitter account @RobocoRodeo if you want to stay up to date over there as well.
