Launched on November 27, 2022 a new crowdfunding campaign for the Me & Roboco series has started on Campfire. Campfire is similar to services such as Kickstarter where people can donate money at various levels to meet a goal. The goal of this campaign is to have various advertisements on the Yamanote Train Line in Japan. The goal was to reach 13,131,313 yen (about $96,000 USD) to meet this initial goal to make a “Roboco Infinity Train.” The crowdfunding campaign was also tied into the release of the manga chapter 115 that same day. This campaign was also an “all-or-nothing” campaign, so if it didn’t meet it’s goal, all money would have been returned. Some sample mock-ups on what that advertising campaign would look like:
On December 11th, the goal of 13,131,313 yen was reached. The campaign also humorously mentioned that if another 100,000,000 yen (about $732,000 USD) was collected they would also have an ad campaign in New York City’s Times Square. The One Piece Red movie recently had a short ad campaign in November in Times Square, which was the inspiration for this joke goal. The crowdfunding campaign will continue until January 26, 2023 at 23:59:59 (JST).
On January 12, 2023 and additional strech goal was added. In addition to having ads on the trail line, it would also extend into the Shinagawa station as well. This goal would require a total of 18,000,000 yen to be collected as part of this crowdfunding campaign.
Depending on which level you donated to, there was various rewards that could be collected. This campaign and rewards, are only available within Japan. Shipping cost and tax has been factored into each of the rewards (where applicable). Additional rewards and information were also added to the campaign in December and January as well.

Love Letter from Roboco
For supporters at the 1000 yen level, a love letter will be e-mailed to you giving her thanks for your support. Unlimited number of people can support at this level.
Exclusive Acrylic Stand
For supporters at the 5000 yen level, you can select a character to be created into a exclusive acrylic stand. Sample designs are shown, which are subject to change. The acrylic piece will be about 99 x 145 mm, which the character and stand can be removed from. Due to 86 characters being on the list of available options, it’s unlikely that most of these character will never be made into acrylic stands again. You will also get the love letter from Roboco e-mailed to you. Unlimited number of people can support at this level.
For supporters at the 30,000 yen level, you can pick a set of pre-selected group acrylic stands. You will also get the love letter from Roboco e-mailed to you. Unlimited number of people can support at this level.
For supporters at the 300,000 yen level, you will get all 86 different designs for the acrylic stands. Additionally, this level will come with an autograph from the creator, Shuhei Miyazaki. You will also get the love letter from Roboco e-mailed to you. Unlimited number of people can support at this level.
Character Block
For supporters at the 10,000 yen level, you can select a single large acrylic character block from one of five designs. The block will be about 100 x 150 x 20 mm in size. You will also get the love letter from Roboco e-mailed to you. Unlimited number of people can support at this level.
For supporters at the 40,000 yen level, you will get all 5 designs of the large acrylic character blocks. You will also get the love letter from Roboco e-mailed to you. Unlimited number of people can support at this level.
Roboco’s Knees Pants
For supporters at the 10,000 yen level, you can select a pair of pants that have Roboco’s knees and underwear printed on them. These are limited to only 99 pairs being made and will also receive the love letter from Roboco. The following are the sizes and will ship in April 2023.

For supporters at the 30,000 yen level, an original drawing will be sent to the fan. Each drawing will be selected at random from existing chapters of the manga and will have an additional signature from the creator Shuhei Miyazaki. This level was limited to 200 supporters and each will receive the love letter from Roboco via e-mail. Sample drawings were shown, but it may not be one of these, and are requested that these are not resold.
Personalized Roboco’s Voice Alarm Clock
For supporters at the 50,000 yen level, you can get an alarm clock that features Roboco’s face and a unique alarm that will call out your name by Roboco. This item is limited to only 29 supporters and you must leave your name in the comments field for the voice actor of Roboco to read out your name.
Autograph Session with Shuehei Miyazaki
For supporters at the 50,000 yen level, they will be invited to a special autograph session directly with the series creator, Shuhei Miyazaki. Each autograph will come with a hand-drawn character illustration that was provided in advance. The specifics of the time and location will be sent directly to the supporters and is not open to the public. At the event you can specify your name to be added. The event will occur in Tokyo on a Saturday or Sunday sometime between March and April 2023 and you are responsible for your own transportation. If you can not attend in person, it will be mailed to you. This level was limited to 100 supporters and each will receive the love letter from Roboco via e-mail. A sample drawing was provided, but the actual drawing may differ.
Signed Anime Recording Script
For supporters at 70,000 yen level, you will receive a signed copy of a script from an actual voice recording of the Me & Roboco anime. It will be signed by the main cast of Minami Tsuda (Bondo), Shun Matsuo (Roboco), Ryotaro Okiayu (Gorilla), Shunsuke Takeuchi (Mostsuo), and M.A.O (Madoka). The script may be from one of the first 7 episodes, for up to 30 supporters, and will ship in April 2023.
Appearance in Me & Roboco manga
For supporters at 100,000 yen level, after providing a photograph of yourself, you will be added into the Me & Roboco manga as a background character. You can not specify how you would appear or which chapter. Additional details may be gathered via e-mail and you will receive the love letter from Roboco via e-mail.
Attend Planning Meeting with Shuhei Miyazaki
For one supporter at the 200,000 yen level, they can attend a serialization planning meeting with Shuhei Miyazaki and his editor for the Me & Roboco manga series. The event will occur in Tokyo sometime between March and June 2023 and responsible for their own transportation. Any suggestions/ideas given by the supporter during the meeting are free to be used by the series. This level was limited to 1 supporter and will also receive the love letter from Roboco via e-mail.
